Welcome to Thistle Ridge
Everyday on the farm is full of hard work and laughter! Life here is not always easy but we wouldn’t trade it for the world. We find a way to celebrate each day for the blessing of full gardens, happy livestock, and love for one another!

Thistle Ridge farm is located in northwest Georgia on 135 acres. The Farm was originally purchased by Richard Hasty in 1977. He grew up farming and loved the land and all it had to offer. Farming has been in our family for generations. Its a love that runs deep and always will here on the Thistle Ridge.
From this ground we’re able to grow food not only for us but for our community. We grow cattle, sheep, & chickens and types of unique fruits and veggies.
Life here is beautiful you could even say magical. Being a part of the cycle of growth and life is always bittersweet. Spring is a time of growth and beauty. The greenhouse is full of sprouts ready to be planted. Chics are hatching. The sheep and cattle will soon have babies.
The summer is an time of work preparing for the long winter ahead. Stacking hay in the barn. Mending fences and fertilizing fields. Fall comes and new crops are planted. The rush of summer is coming to a end. Ready to settle for the slow cold winter.
